Nous avons souhaité mettre en place un projet participatif afin de comprendre comment chacun se réapproprie un espace urbain, il s’agit ici de la place Mazagran à Lyon, 7ème arrondissement.

Les occupants du parc ont leurs habitudes et s’approprient leur espace à leurs manières et c’est ce que nous avons souhaité mettre en avant. Le parc, comme il a été pensé à l’origine, ne répond pas forcement à un besoin de partage, de collaboration ou d’entraide. On a pu constater à l'aide de différentes expériences que le parc est pour certains un espace plus divisé qu’il n’y parait.  

We wanted to set up a participative project to understand how everyone reclaims an urban space, in this case the Place Mazagran in Lyon, 7th arrondissement.

The occupants of the park have their own habits and appropriate their space in their own way and this is what we wanted to highlight. The park, as it was originally conceived, does not necessarily meet a need for sharing, collaboration or mutual aid. We have seen from different experiences that the park is for some people a more divided space than it seems.
